In case you missed it – here are some of my thoughts from the last two months. (New mommy brain)
My toddler has an unfair advantage in hide-n-seek.
He doesn’t have to carry around a cooing, hiccuping newborn to the super secret hiding spot.
Toddler: 1 | Mommy: 0
Netflix and Chi … potle.
After 3 years at this, I’ve decided that the key to parenting is having the patience to repeat yourself a bajillion times..
Parenthood is reminding your 3 year old he can’t eat on the sofa while you eat on the sofa & agreeing life isn’t fair.
Mommy freedom is being able to eat your croutons loudly and openly without having to share with your toddler.
You know you’re a mom when you tip toe around your own home to avoid waking the kids.
Motherhood: When you use a baby wipe to clean everything.
When you’re eating next to your sleeping newborn and he starts to move …. So you chew a little quieter and pray that he doesn’t wake up in the next 8-10 bites before you’re done.
Nothing like a fresh pair of yoga pants after a record breaking shower that had minute to minute updates from a 3 year old on the breathing patterns of your newborn.
I’m not an expert swaddler but I channel my inner burrito wrapping skills and it all comes together
