Mom bods: unite!
Usually after baby is when you’re the fluffiest. Not 7 months later when you you’ve been working for a few months. LOL Hi. I’m Megan and I now weigh more than my after birth weight *sad*. I admit it, I’m an emotional eater. When I’m feeling stressed, I eat. When I’m feeling happy, I eat. When I’m feeling overwhelmed I eat. You put something in front of me … I eat. It has been getting way it of control and I’m at the point of change. Maybe the New Year has to do with it… but it’s super time to fix the problem.
Before baby and the three months following him, I lost lots of weight and a ton had to do with the accountability groups I would run monthly (and a healthy diet and exercise of course). Challenges ranged from water challenges to healthy eating. It was a group of supportive women cheering each other on. I want that again, but long term. Queue my new idea: a mega super, all year long group!
We will all be women, all walks of life – young, old, skinny, fit (teach us your ways!), moms, no moms – just speaking love into each other. I want to take this one step further and encompass the mind and souls. Maybe we will have a book club or a video a week with a challenge. Great thing about this group is we can try anything (hello Pinterest)!
