In our alternate universe we would be balancing life between work, school and extra-curricular activities. Dinners would be via drive thru and chit chat would be a minimum. We would be running from one activity to another.
If there is any silver lining to all the chaos around us is that it taught us the value of family time. Our days are looking a little different, but we are soakin’ in all the cuddles, laughter, dinners and of course the sun.
This year we are beating the heat with our outdoor water slide. Not going to lie, it is was a pricey purchase. My reasoning is that I would spend that much on a day rental of an inflatable jumper, but this time we get to enjoy it over and over again. lol
